Kids ministry

What We Offer:

  • Sunday School: Age-appropriate classes for children from toddlers to pre-teens. Each class includes interactive Bible lessons and creative activities to help children understand and apply God's Word.

  • Children’s Worship: For Wednesday night and Sunday Children’s Church we have a lively worship experience tailored just for kids, featuring delicious snacks, fun games, and Bible teaching that is relevant and easy to understand.

  • Nursery Care: A safe and nurturing environment for our youngest members, where trained volunteers provide loving care while parents participate in worship services.

  • Special Events: Exciting events throughout the year, such as Vacation Bible School, church camp, and family fun days, where children can connect with friends and grow in their faith.

At Hannon Church, our children are important and loved! To support parents, we offer Children’s Church for younger kids during the sermon. Children are encouraged to attend a class for their age group where they are supervised by leaders within the church. Our goals include guiding our children to have a personal relationship with God, learning from the Bible and applying that knowledge to their daily lives, and most importantly, accepting Jesus into their hearts as their Lord and Savior. 

We offer safe and welcoming classrooms for children between the ages 2-10.  The children are grouped by ages so that planned activities are developmentally appropriate and engaging for each group.  There is a group for 2-4 year olds, a group for 5-6 year olds, and a group for 7-10 year olds.  The lessons are planned using a variety of resources, including the ShareFaith online curriculum. Each week, kids participate in a pre-planned lesson, hear/read stories from the Bible, sing songs to praise and glorify God, engage in crafts and/or free play, pray, and receive a snack. The last Sunday of the month, the youngest group sings a song for the congregation and the two older groups recite memory verses that they have practiced.
